PLAY #25: GDC 2012 April 4, 2012
The iOS titles of game designer Zach Gage include Bit Pilot and SpellTower. His GDC presentation took at a look at the challenge of designing controls for new gaming platforms, specifically touchscreen devices. Derek Yu and Eirik "Phlogiston" Surkhe received the excellence in design award at GDC this year, and discuss their experience running online communities TIGSource and PAUSE. Matthew Burns relates his intentions in founding indie studio Shadegrown Games and contributing as a judge to the 2012 IGF awards' excellence in audio category.  
PLAY #24: The Sidescrolling of Isaac February 24, 2012
Four music composers join this installment of the IndieGames podcast: Composer Danny Baranowsky is known for his collaboration with Edmund McMillen on roguelike shooter The Binding of Isaac. Chip musician Ash Charles, aka Sabrepulse, provided the soundtrack to Bit Pilot for iOS, designed by Zach Gage. Musician Dom Beken is one half of UK hip-hop duo High Frequency Bandwidth, with Alex Paterson, whose tracks are found on PixelJunk Shooter, PixelJunk Shooter 2 and PixelJunk SideScroller. Composer Tomas Dvorak (Floex) wrote the music for Amanita Design's point-and-click adventure games Samorost 2 and Machinarium.

Austin Wintory discusses his music for ThatGameCompany's flOw and Journey, as he joins Andy Schatz on development of Monaco. NightSky composer Chris Schlarb talks about working with with Nifflas, along with creating interactive music for Erik Loyer's iOS application Strange Rain. Finally, Shadi Muklashy and Ali Bavarian of Paper Sound, composers of mech combat simulator Hawken, share their love of old school game melodies.  
PLAY #22: Team Meat, Take Two September 4, 2011
Edmund and Tommy from Team Meat are back on the IndieGames.com podcast to discuss the aftermath of Super Meat Boy, and what the duo plans to do with the future. Ed also talks at length about his new game The Binding of Isaac. As you'd expect, there is oodles of strong language, so close your ears if you'd rather not be subjected to it.

With the recent news that his game Desktop Dungeons is now an IGF finalist, we wanted to grill him about the future of the game, what else we can expect from him and what he reckons his chances of winning the IGF are. Oh, and also whether he codes naked, obviously.

Robert Boyd (Zeboyd Games) and Luke Schneider (Radiangames) are on the IndieGames podcast this week, talking about their Xbox Live Indie Games and the upcoming Indie Games Winter Uprising.
